Oct 13, 2017

We are glad to announce that Samuel ”Zyppe” Martinsson, coach of our CS:GO Male team, have taken the spot as Crowns new Head of Esport. Not only that, he has also become part-owner in the Crowns Esports Club.

He will still continue to work with the team as coach, but his new role as Head of Esports will involve a broader responsibility of all the teams and players in Crowns Esports Club. He will drive a wide variety of projects, ranging from player management and league operations to content strategy. As well as identify areas of inefficiency or unexplored territory to advance one of the initiatives within esports and contribute to the growth and evolution of esports as an industry.

After two years as self-employed and one year in the Crowns family, I am extremely glad to archive one of my biggest dreams. During my first meeting with the owners of the club I told them that my dream was to own an E-sport organization, and today it is reality! In addition to sharing ownership, I will also handle the role as Head of E-sport.

Ever since I start worked with E-sport my goal has been to work as Head of E-sport. I love working with people that is motivated and have crazy dreams. I hope I can be a helping hand for everyone that represent the Crowns family in the future and help them develop – Samuel ”Zyppe” Martinsson
